Anatole Kurdsjuk

Anatole Kurdsjuk is retired and lives in Fort Myers with his wife of forty-plus years. Born in Russia on the shores of the Sea of Azov, he was forced from his home at the onset of World War II and survived three years in a German slave labor camp before being liberated by Patton’s Third Army.

After serving in the US Air Force and working as an Information Systems Executive, he retired in 1997 and began writing his family history as a legacy to his children. Encouraged by those who were touched by his family’s story, he transformed these rememberances into his first book, The Long Walk Home, With Miracles Along The Way.

Since the release of his book, Anatole has enjoyed many speaking engagements at various events and group meetings in the Fort Myers area, as well as in other cities on the east coast.
